Fireworks

Marina Bay Park 4th of July Annual Third of July Celebration Fireworks, food, and fun are what this event is all about.  Celebrate with your fellow community members at Marina Bay Park, enjoy live blues music and the youth play area (for a fee) until the night sky explodes with color. Pleasant Hill 4th of July Celebration with a 5k run, parade, park event and fireworks. After the parade walk over to Pleasant Hill Park for food, kid’s games and activities. National Anthem after 11:30 AM. Location | 147 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill Date | July 4th, 2023 Time | 11:30 am Fireworks | 8:45 pm July 4th Stars & Stripes Run, Parade, Festival & Fireworks Celebration with a pancake breakfast, 5k run, parade, park event, music and fireworks. Begins at Todos Santos Plaza for pancakes, kid’s run and parade. Festivities continue at Mt. Diablo High School at 4 pm for live entertainment and then fireworks. Location | 2175 Willow Pass Road, Concord, CA & 2450 Grant St., Concord, CA Date | July 4th, 2023 Time | 7:30 am - 9:30 pm Fireworks | 9 pm

4th of July in Moraga Park Celebrate with the city of Moraga in Commons Park with an all-day festival, culminating in a fireworks display. The festivities include a dog parade, community booths, jumpy houses Food, Wine & Beer Booths and other family activities. The evening festivities on stage at the bandshell start at 6:45pm. Location | 1425 St. Mary's Rd., Moraga, CA Date | July 4th, 2023 Time | 11 am - 10 pm Fireworks | 9:30 pm

Parades Alameda's 4th of July Parade Alameda's Parade is the longest in the nation with a route that spans 3.3 miles.  The Parade draws over 60,000 spectators from the region and entries include a full spectrum of Bay Area residents, including equestrians, dance troops, floats, antique cars, community groups, transported and marching bands from both the community and local schools. Date | July 4th, 2023 Time | 10 am Fremont 4th of July Parade National Anthem, celebrity Grand Marshal, and flyover performed by the "Beech Boys", a private squadron... and possibly a special guest plane! Around 70 parade entries with everything from local groups to historic military vehicles, Fire and Police entries, helium filled parade balloons and marching bands! Read more here. Location | 2400 Stevenson Blvd., Fremont Date | July 4th, 2023 Time | 10 am Orinda 4th of July Parade The parade begins in Orinda’s Theatre District and continues under the freeway to Orinda’s Village District, culminating at the Orinda Community Center. Favorite bands have returned to march in the parade including St. Gabriel’s Celestial Brass Band, MJ Brass Boppers and the Orinda All-Volunteer Marching Band. The popular stilt walkers will also be on hand. More parade details here. Location | Starts at Orinda’s Theatre District Date | July 4th, 2023 Time | 10 am Piedmont 4th of July Parade There is a pancake breakfast in the morning starting at 8am. The parade starts at 11 am should be about 1 hour to 1.5 hours. The parade is followed by a free concert by the Big Bang Beat in the park from 1 pm until 3:30 pm. Boy Scouts are BBQing and selling hot dogs and hamburgers. Location | Parkway Piedmont Date | July 4th, 2023 Time | 11 am Moraga Dog Parade The registration for the dog parade is at the bandshell. The parade will be followed by festivities that include community booths, inflatable jumpies, food, wine, beer booths and family activities. The National Anthem will play at the bandshell and a concert with the house rockers followed by fireworks. More parade details here.
