Student Applications in Oakland & Berkeley School Districts

It’s that time of year again when Oakland and Berkeley School applications are open. Here is the info and links to your local school directories to apply for the upcoming school year.
OUSD Enrollment
Starting on December 1, 2022, families can begin to apply to schools for the 2023-2024 school year. All applications received between December 1, 2022, and February 10, 2023, are considered “on time” and will be given equivalent consideration.
You can find the applications by selecting the enroll now button on the OUSD homepage.

BUSD enrollment
Enrollment is open, and residents and non-residents are welcome to submit applications for the upcoming school year.
Enrollment Dates for the Pre-K, Elementary, & Middle School | 2023-2024 School Year:
Round One: January 2 – February 3, 2023
Round Two: February 6 – May 19, 2023
Round Three: May 22 – June 23, 2023
Ongoing: June 26, 2023, and beyond
Enrollment Dates for the High School | 2023-2024 School Year:
Round 1: November 14 – December 16th, 2022
Round 2: March 27 – May 19, 2023
Round 3: May 22 – June 23, 2023
Ongoing: June 26, 2023, and beyond
To enroll, parents/guardians must submit the required documents to the BUSD admissions office and the admissions office will provide instructions on how to register the student to their assigned school.
