Simone Spotlight - Boo at the Zoo
Simone Spotlight - Boo At the Zoo
October 17th
๐ Hey East Bay ๐
Itโs that time of year again, when you can enjoy a pumpkin latte while enjoying a hayride. There is so much to do and so many events to choose from, and thatโs why I wanted to mention Boo at the Zoo. Not only is it great fall fun you can enjoy with your family, but it also supports our local Zoo.
If you were wondering what to do this upcoming weekend, you can always reserve your tickets for the annual scavenger hunt. This year the Oakland Zoo will be holding their annual Animal Trading Card Scavenger Hunt from October 22-31, 2022 between the hours of 10:00am - 4:00pm.
Grab a program as you enter the Zoo and follow the clues on our self-guided scavenger hunt to trick-or-treat for animal trading cards throughout the Zoo. Upon completing your scavenger hunt, collect a limited-release trading card and a candy bar from our presenting sponsor OCHO Candy.
You should dress in costume when you visit (no inflatable costumes, they scare the animals) and tag Oakland Zoo on social media to enter their Halloween costume contest. Winners will receive 4 tickets to the zoo's amazing holiday nighttime lantern festival, Glowfari, which takes place from November 11, 2022 through January 29, 2023.
Boo at the Zoo is included with regular zoo admission. All tickets must be reserved in advance online. Tickets become available at 9am, 28 days prior to the date you would like to visit.
