EAST BAY TOY DRIVES

Oakland Mayor's Community

Toy Drive

All toys will be distributed at Oakland City Hall on Saturday, December 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. DONATE

The 43rd Annual Mayor’s Community Toy Drive makes the holidays joyful for Oakland children whose families can’t afford gifts. The Office of Mayor Libby Schaaf and nearly 300 volunteers team up yearly to distribute toys, books, and sports equipment to almost 9,000 children from low-income families.

2021 Impact - Thanks to donations, the city provided 10,000 children of Oakland with gift cards to local businesses. The financial support helped families in need, and businesses survive, and kept Oakland workers employed.

Donations

Demand for gifts exceeds the donations. To help meet the needs of the toy drive, consider making a tax-deductible monetary donation.

  1. Submit your donation online at https://posweb.oaklandnet.com/POSWeb/toydrive.aspx

  2. Write a check made payable to:

β€œThe City of Oakland Community Toy Drive” c/o Office of the Mayor 1 Frank Ogawa Plaza – Third Floor Oakland, CA 94612

Note: Your contribution will be tax-deductible.
