๐ŸŽ‰ Hey East Bay ๐ŸŽ‰ - The Legacy Lives On

Monday, January 17, 2022

Join the community for the MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. ANNUAL CELEBRATION IN EL CERRITO in celebrating the remarkable life and legacy of Dr. King that changed the landscape of our nation.

In this new year it is important to reflect and honor all those that came before us, those who touched and  bettered our lives through their leadership and actions.

On this Monday, January 17th, 2022, we celebrate the legacy of the remarkable Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., whose work influenced and changed the lives of every generation in this country for the better.

Through his leadership, activism, organization and speeches, Dr. King Jr. rallied peaceful protests to combat racial inequality. He advanced civil rights and combatted the oppression of segregation and racism.

His revolutionary speech, I have a dream, has stirred the hearts, minds and souls of this country and gave all of us a greater vision to a better world, a better nation, a better people.

Letโ€™s give thanks this Monday and spend time honoring Dr. King who dedicated his life to the people, the community, and the nation which he served.

Thanks to Dr. King every generation after him has benefited from a brighter future, but the work continues.

Let us remember, honor and let his legacy live on in us. The future he envisioned.
