I had the pleasure of sitting down at Kitchen Story this week for lunch with a colleague and am happy to feature it as this week's Hotspot. Kitchen Story is the newest restaurant to open up on College Ave. in the Rockridge neighborhood of Oakland.
Filling in the space previously occupied by Duchess, Kitchen Story keeps the ambiance cozy and fresh. The highlight, of course, is the menu. You may be catching on to my love of Brunch by now. Breakfast foods make me happy, so why not enjoy anytime?
That seems to be the philosophy here at Kitchen Story, and luckily they take things up a few notches by offering twists on your favorites. Take for example the eggs benedict. This classic dish is jazzed up by incorporating the signature Korean Fried Chicken. It's a definite mouth pleaser! I highly recommend stopping by for brunch and learning exploring the menu yourself!
